Continuing the contributions of America’s great foundationPomeranians on America’ Poms of today. Derial Jackson documented amazing information on our early Pomeranians from first hand knowledge. He had his hands on many of the MATTA Poms.
He was a wealth of knowledge and was willing to share it. We are very fortunate to have this information to share. I firmly believe the MATTA Poms were probably the most influential in creating great America Pomeranians over many generations. Pictured is BISA BISS CH LENNIS’S TAR LACY FOXFIRE winner of 28 BISA. Owned by Ed Jenner, shown by Susan Fisher and bred by Lennis Raines. And you can see the essence of the Pom. Big coat, balanced, big tail plume, alert expression, high ear set and a good example of up on toes. Remember in this era and with Tar Lacy too, the standard called for fine bone, and fanciers even trimmed leg hair to make them appear more fine boned.
